This is a small site for a single holiday rental — RR210 at Royal Residences, Cabarete. It is run by the owners, Jeff and Kathie, and day-to-day guest contact is handled by our property manager, Birgit. This page explains everything the site collects.

What we collect

Two things, and nothing else.

Analytics. We use Google Analytics to see which pages people read and which links they click. It tells us things like which country a visit came from, whether it was a phone or a laptop, which page was landed on, and whether a booking link was clicked. It does not tell us who you are. We use this to decide what to write about next and whether the site is doing its job.

Inquiry form. If you fill in the form, you send us your name, email address, the dates and guest count you entered, and any message you write. That submission is delivered by a service called Web3Forms and forwarded to Birgit so she can reply to you. We use it to answer your inquiry and nothing else.

Cookies

The cookie banner controls the analytics cookies. Until you accept, Google Analytics is not loaded. The site also stores your language choice in your browser so it can be remembered on your next visit — that stays on your device and is never sent to us.

You can clear or block cookies in your browser at any time. Google also publishes an opt-out browser add-on that disables Google Analytics on every site you visit.

Where your data goes

• Google Analytics — usage statistics, processed by Google.
• Web3Forms — delivers inquiry form submissions to Birgit's email.
• Cloudflare — hosts this site and serves the photos.

Nobody else receives anything. If you click through to Airbnb or message Birgit on WhatsApp, you're on their platforms and their own privacy policies apply — we have no visibility into what happens there.

How long we keep it

Google Analytics data expires automatically on Google's retention schedule. Inquiry emails stay in Birgit's inbox for as long as they're useful for arranging or following up a stay.

Your choices

Write to cabareterroyal@gmail.com and ask us to show you what we hold about you or delete it, and we will. There is no account to close and no mailing list to unsubscribe from — we don't run one.

Changes

If this page changes, the date at the top changes with it.
